When you create a BakerOS account, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email, business name, state, and business details you choose to enter (menu items, recipes, pricing, customer records, orders, inventory, and similar business data). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name and email) from Google.
We don't store your card or payment details. Subscription payments to BakerOS are handled entirely by PayPal. Payments your own customers make on your storefront are handled entirely by Stripe or PayPal, connected directly to your own Stripe or PayPal account — that money and payment information never passes through or is stored by BakerOS.
We do not sell your data, or your customers' data, to third parties.
Information your customers provide when ordering from your storefront (name, contact info, order details) is stored so you can manage your business. You are responsible for how you use that data in your own business, in line with applicable law.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate BakerOS:

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf.
BakerOS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us — some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls that keep every account's data separated from every other account's. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you're located somewhere with specific data protection rights (like the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights under applicable law — reach out and we'll work with you.
BakerOS uses essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
BakerOS is intended for business use by adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as BakerOS evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
